Become an Authorised Representative of Stable Connect
If you're looking to establish a racehorse syndication business, Stable Connect can provide the licensing, compliance and administrative framework to help you get started.
As an Authorised Representative of Stable Connect, you can operate your syndication
business under our Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 336964), with the support of an experienced team that understands the thoroughbred syndication industry.
We work with syndicators throughout Australia and will guide you through each step of becoming an Authorised Representative.
The Process
1. Contact Stable Connect
Get in touch with our team to discuss your plans and find out more about becoming an Authorised Representative of Stable Connect.
2. Initial Discussion & Application
We'll discuss your proposed syndication business, experience and plans and provide you with the information required to begin the application process.
3. Due Diligence
Stable Connect undertakes due diligence on all prospective Authorised Representatives as part of our AFSL and compliance obligations.
We'll guide you through the information and documentation required.
4. Business & Compliance Requirements
We'll work with you to ensure you understand the business and compliance requirements associated with operating as a racehorse syndicator under the Stable Connect AFSL.
Our team will explain the regulatory framework and the processes you'll need to follow when establishing and promoting your syndications.
5. Registration with the Relevant Principal Racing Authorities
Racehorse syndicators are also subject to the requirements of the relevant Principal Racing Authorities in the states or territories in which they operate.
Stable Connect will assist you through the relevant registration process and requirements.
6. Appointment as an Authorised Representative
Once the required application, due diligence and regulatory requirements have been completed, you can be formally appointed as an Authorised Representative of Stable Connect under AFSL 336964.
7. RG146 Training
Authorised Representatives are required to complete the relevant RG146 training requirements.
Stable Connect will provide information about the required training and assist you through this process.
8. Commence Syndication
Once all requirements have been completed, you're ready to commence syndicating racehorses as an Authorised Representative under the Stable Connect AFSL.

Stable Connect provides ongoing compliance, administration and syndication support to our Authorised Representatives, helping you navigate the regulatory requirements while you focus on building and growing your business.
