Adam Tims

Adam is the sole proprietor of Stable Financial, a Chartered Accounting Firm that is widely recognised for specialising in the thoroughbred industry. He has extensive experience in the equine industry from a management and taxation perspective and has written a large number of tax and accounting articles for horse industry publications. He is also the current Treasurer of Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA) and Aushorse Ltd.
Tim Johnson

Tim has been involved in the Thoroughbred industry since a very young boy when he often walked the Moonee Valley track with his grandfather William Cox. In his teenage years he keenly followed every horse his other grandfather Walter Johnson bred. Tim joined his parents at the family Stud, Ealing Park, Euroa in 1988 after a career in the legal and financial industries. The stud had a number of stallions including Melbourne Cup winning Kingston Rule, Rustic Amber and Good Journey.
Tim has also been President of the Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria (TBV) and Vice President of Thoroughbred Breeders Australia (TBA).
Tim is a legal practitioner and has operated the law practice Stable Legal since 2012.
Ashleigh Carpenter
Compliance Officer for Stable Connect Ltd.
Ashleigh joined Stable Connect in 2018 and oversees the day-to-day compliance and regulatory operations of the business.
Her role includes the onboarding and ongoing monitoring of Authorised Representatives, regulatory training, AML/CTF compliance and oversight of the Product Disclosure Statement process. She also works closely with Principal Racing Authorities across Australia to support syndication approvals and regulatory requirements.
With extensive experience in thoroughbred syndication compliance, Ashleigh provides ongoing guidance and support to Stable Connect’s Authorised Representatives operating under its Australian Financial Services Licence.
